So here is what I have been doing for the past 4 days. This is just one of the 12 shops in our Egyptian Marketplace. I'm really pleased with how well it turned out. Especially considering that we barely spent any money at all on the decor! Most of the baskets and knick knacks were found at garage sales. And almost all of the fabric we used came from random fabric remnants we found all over the church. It is unbelievable how much (useable) stuff is in our church! And the most important part is that the kids tonight seemed to really enjoy it! Everything kind of worked out just as I had planned it, which is good especially after all the hundreds of hours of planning and set up. I'll get a link up for some more pictures soon. One night down, four more to go!
