I'm thankful for our book club! We had our first book club meeting tonight, and it was really fun! I have always wanted to be a part of a book club, so I just decided to start one with some of my friends. This time we read The Help by Kathryn Stockett, which was a really good book. I was the hostess this month, and I decided to make 2 desserts based off of the book: chocolate pie and caramel cake. If you've read The Help, don't worry--I didn't use Minny's chocolate pie recipe!! If you haven't read The Help, you should--it's a good book! (and then you'll understand why I didn't use Minny's recipe!)
