A Fun Photo Shoot!

Today the girls wanted to play dress up.  They picked out what dresses they wanted to wear.  Then they picked out what jewelry they wanted to wear.  Then they put on their fancy new shoes (which we just bought to wear with their Easter dresses and summer dress clothes).

Since they were going to so much trouble to get dressed up, I thought we should take their picture.  And they agreed!  Not only did they let me take a picture, but they let me take a ton of pictures while they posed and had lots of fun being silly.  While this isn't unusual for Audrey, it is very rare for Isla to let anyone take her picture these days.  So I took advantage!

Before going outside, they had to get their purses ready and put on their lip gloss.

And once we got outside, they made all sort of silly faces and struck many different poses for the camera!

It was so much fun for all three of us!  I especially loved being able to capture some pictures of Isla's personality.  She is so much fun at this age, and she cracks us up all the time.  But it is hard to capture on camera!

Then, after the photo shoot, the girls were all wound up and running around the yard and singing at the top of their lungs.  And again, Isla let me record her!  This is miraculous, people!!!  Here she is enthusiastically singing a song she made up called, "Don't Do That Again" (while Audrey sings Let it Go at the same time):

Watch closely in this video, after Audrey sings (yet another!) version of Let it Go.  Isla sings an abbreviated version of "Don't Do That Again," and then she does a little bow and says "thank you, thank you, thank you."  I've never seen her do that before, but it was SO adorable!  I'm guessing that's a trick she picked up from her big sister.

And one more of Isla because I just can't help myself.  This time she is singing Let it Go and trying to freeze people with her magic ice powers like Elsa.

Love these girls!!!
